About Us
Everyday Objects was created from a simple idea: everyday life should be a little more fun.
My name is Tyler Breuer, and after spending more than a decade in the gift industry working with brands like Genuine Fred, Paladone, Unicorn Snot, and Hipsterkid, I decided to create a line of products that blends humor, art, and functionality into the objects we use every day.
Everyday Objects transforms ordinary household items into playful, functional designs that spark curiosity, laughter, and human connection. The goal isn’t just to make products that look interesting — it’s to create things people actually use while adding a little levity to the mundane parts of life.
The brand draws inspiration from pop art, comic books, and artists like Roy Lichtenstein and Joshua Vides, particularly the idea of bringing bold 2D artwork into the real world. I loved the concept of turning everyday objects into something visually unexpected while still keeping them genuinely useful.
One of the biggest inspirations behind the brand actually comes from the movie "Big". There’s a scene where a toy company is presenting a robot that transforms into a building, and Tom Hanks’ character simply says, “I don’t get it.” The building didn’t do anything. That moment stuck with me.
When creating Everyday Objects, I didn’t want to make products that were just visual gimmicks. I wanted to create things that make people smile while they’re doing dishes, cleaning up, cooking dinner, or going through the routines of everyday life.
Because honestly, sometimes a tiny bit of humor can make the ordinary feel a whole lot lighter.
Our Mission
Everyday Objects exists to bring joy to everyday life by transforming
ordinary things into playful, clever, and functional designs that spark
curiosity, laughter, and human connection.
We create small moments of surprise and delight that lower the weight of
routine, invite touch and discovery, and remind people to stay hopeful,
creative, and optimistic.
We believe humor matters, creativity lives everywhere, and optimism is
powerful. We strive to be a company people feel good supporting — one that
leads with integrity, cares for its community, and spreads positivity through
thoughtful design and playful imagination.
